Hostal Cardenal Cisneros- Beautiful hostel (more like a parador) housed in a 16th century building (11th century subsurface) & a one-time Muslim palace. Located in the center of old Toledo next to the The Cathedral's Lion's Gate. 10 rooms have bathroom, air conditioning & heat. Reservations by phone/fax/email. Beautiful photos & high prices. Hostal Descalzos- NICE-looking hostel located near the Tajo River, next to the cathedral, house of El Greco, & Church of Santo Tomé. Rooms have bathroom, music, telephone, internet (!), air conditioning & heating, & some rooms have views of St. Martin's Bridge. Rooms individually priced and change with season.
